It's been a long while since I've updated my journal but I'm alive and well I got a call from my friend Jeff soon after AX telling me that Arakune has been auctioned off for $120!!!! I don't know who won but I saw a picture of my friend Jeff with the artist, Mori holding the Arakune plush I made >w< Mori autographed it too and he said he liked it <3 Yay~!

Today's my birthday, another year older although not old enough to start not telling everybody it's my birthday and how old I am xD My fiancee and I went to the zoo It was HOT and there were a lot of kids! All the animals were lazy and hanging out in the shade and I would be too if it weren't my b-day Although I did get to sleep in until 11 ~u~ I went out for Sushi and ordered an Orange Blossom roll. For the longest time, sushi restaurants would only make Cherry Blossoms (Tuna on the outside and Salmon on the inside) and I didn't think it would've been hard to swap it to Salmon on the outside and Tuna on the inside but they've always refused. I like Salmon sashimi more than Tuna sashimi anyhow. Hamachi is also really good too! Anyhow, I am totally stuffed from dinner and I know my roomie bought me an ice cream cake although I haven't had it yet. Looking forward to it =9

An update on my crocheting, I haven't started on the Rachel doll yet but I've been thinking about it and how to make her. Since my relatives came over from the other side of the US to visit, I figured that I would make one of the Elisabeth Doherty dolls for my two younger cousins. She's half done and I will post her up as soon as she's 100% finished <3 Just a note, fun fur is hard to work with =o

I've also been feeling artsy lately. The chibi drawing of my avatar is just the beginning of the many sketches I have on 8x11 sheets of lined or white printer paper. Although I don't know how much I'll be posting up. They're probably going to be predominantly Gaia characters anyway. I find that doing the lineart and coloring takes up a lot of time... especially without a tablet (which is now on my wishlist xD). I feel torn between getting better at drawing or getting better at crocheting. I want to get better at both I guess that's all. Time to have some cake >w<
